Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
Mental Health problems are a growing public health concern and employers should take all the necessary measures to spot any early warning signs of Mental Health.
In the UK, it is estimated that 1 in 6 of us have experienced a common Mental Health problem.
That is a worrying statistic.
But taking that first step to becoming a qualified Mental Health First Aider could help a colleague, friend, or even a family member.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a qualification that teaches people how to help someone they think might be experiencing a Mental Health problem.
We cover the following topics;
✅ What is First Aid for Mental Health?
✅ Identifying Mental Health conditions
✅ Providing advice and starting a conversation
✅ Stress
✅ Mental Health conditions
✅ Drugs and alcohol
✅ First Aid for Mental Health action plan
✅ First Aid for Mental Health in the workplace
We can deliver our Mental Health First Aid courses at your workplace, in our ventilated, and easily accessible workshop in West Coker, Yeovil, or partially online.

These include:
- Carrying out a Fire Risk Assessment
- Consider who may be at risk
- Reducing risks
- Providing general Fire precautions

Fire Safety Act 2021
The Fire Safety Act 2021 was brought in to amend the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Under Article 3 of the FSO, the “responsible person” of a premise (either a building or any part of it) is the person who has control of the premises (“the Responsible Person”), which may include building owners, leaseholders, or managers.
