Lightning Training Solutions have been at the forefront of mental health first aid for a number of years, with increasing media coverage highlighting the need for greater awareness towards mental health, particularly in the workplace and at home where help may not be easily accessible.

The recent pandemic has forced many of us to work from home, for some of us, creating a melting pot of heightened feelings, whether thats spending too much time with a partner, trying to work around homeschooling, or for single households, an increased sense of loneliness with no-one to speak or interact with.

All of these issues can take its toll on both body and mind, which is why we have been working with the local community by offering online mental first aid courses from home safely.

Our courses can help you, and those around you, feel more positive, whilst learning life skills on how to assess, help and be pro-active towards mental health.

Once life has returned to whatever normal might be, our mental health first aid mentors will begin booking premises in and around the Yeovil area so you can attend safely and securely.

These are available in three formats; half day which is around 4 hours where you will learn how to identify mental health conditions, provide advice and start conversations on topics such as stress and anxiety.
